Amazon Poland adds more than 1 ten thousand temporary jobs for the year-end shopping peak

AMZ123 has learned that recently, Amazonannounced that it will recruit more than 1 ten thousand seasonal employees in Poland through temporary staffing agencies to handle the increase in orders during the year-end shopping peak. The recruitment is for Amazon's e-commerce fulfillment centers in Poland, primarily to supplement staffing during the peak season.
Amazon said that every fourth quarter, Amazon.pl sees a significant increase in order volumes, making it necessary to expand logistics teams in advance to ensure that goods can be processed and delivered promptly. The new employees will mainly join logistics teams in locations including Sosnowiec, Gliwice, Łódź, Poznań, Wrocław and Okmiany, as well as the recently opened fulfillment center in Dobromierz.
Amazon said that this year it plans to add more than 1 ten thousand employees to its logistics teams in Poland, a significantly larger recruitment effort than last year. All eligible employees have the opportunity to receive a pre-tax peak-season allowance of 2200 zlotys.
As recruitment needs increase, Amazon's logistics network in Poland is also continuing to expand. In month 10 of 2026, Amazon opened its 12th fulfillment center in Poland in Dobromierz. The continuing increase in logistics facilities also means that Amazon needs more staff to process orders during year-end sales events and the holiday shopping season.
Regarding pay, Amazon raised wages for hourly employees at 12 fulfillment centers in Poland starting on day 1 of month 10 in 2026. Employees' monthly pre-tax pay ranges from 6472 to 8404 zlotys, including an attendance bonus of 15%, which employees must attend work as scheduled to receive.
Specific pay levels also depend on length of service at Amazon: after working at Amazon for more than 24 months, entry-level employees can earn monthly pre-tax pay of 7052 zlotys; team leaders with the same length of service receive monthly pre-tax pay of 8404 zlotys. The same pay rates apply whether employees are hired directly by Amazon or through temporary staffing agencies.
In terms of its overall scale, Amazon entered the Polish market in 2014. In month 3 of 2021, Amazon officially launched its local Polish shopping websiteAmazon.pl.
Amazon currently directly employs more than 1.9 ten thousand employees in Poland and indirectly supports more than 3 ten thousand jobs. From 2012 to 2025, Amazon invested a cumulative total of more than 450 hundred million zlotys in Poland, establishing 12 fulfillment centers, corporate offices, Amazon Web Services (AWS) operations and 3 Amazon Development Center Poland facilities.
Building on its previous investments, Amazon also plans to invest an additional 230 hundred million zlotys in Poland from 2026 to 2028.
